Weather finally broke

The humidity finally broke and today it was just nice, warm and sunny without that awful sweat-producing humidity.

Feeling really REALLY good as I’m getting to know this amazing guy. He sees me as a woman with hair, not a hairy woman and that makes all the difference.

He’s funny, intelligent, well-spoken, not a pig and we share a love of classic cars, music and Chinese food!

Right now he’s living far away but soon he’ll be a lot closer, so we’ll see what happens. Right now he’s just making me smile — a lot.

    I’ve wanted to shoot myself with this weather. Of course, I live on the third floor in this atic type apartment and it’s always at least ten degrees warmer in here than it is outside. I’ll take 50 degree weather over 90 and 100 degrees any day! Ugh!

    Glad to hear about the new guy. And the fact he doesn’t ask constantly about the hair - even better.

    Ewww, do you have air conditioning? I have central air but this office gets unbearably hot due to all the electronics, so I usually have an additional room air conditioner in here, but my handyman has been too busy to install it, so I dealt with a small portable fan.

    I’m the same way, give me snow, give me 50 degrees, anything but the heat and humidity!

    The new guy and I did talk about the hair, but he asked about it in such a way that it wasn’t demeaning, degrading and didn’t insult me at all. He was curious, he asked, and we moved on, after I asked about HIS pubic hair!!

    Just a really REALLY nice guy who makes me smile. He found me through this website, of all places.

    Nope. No air conditioning. I finally bought a fan yesterday but it’s so hot in here it basically just blows warm air around. I have wacky windows so I couldn’t put a window ac in but I was looking to see if I can find some fan (the kind with the water that works like a window ac) because that’s the only thing that would cool this damn apt off. Of course, since it’s gotten cooler I’m just hoping I won’t have to deal with it but I know by August it will likely be back with a vengeance.

    And I’m excited for you about the new guy. guys don’t realize that we actually don’t mind talking about the hair but it has to be something besides “how long is it”.

    Oh no :(

    I did see a portable room air conditioner at Target I think … it looks like a portable heater unit but it’s an a/c instead. You empty it once a day and it’s for small apartments and rooms without a window. I don’t remember the price.

    It was cool last night. I slept with a bedroom window open and got up around 2 and was freezing! Of course, half asleep I shut it with my bad shoulder like a moron!

    The new guy and I’ll be talking on the phone this weekend so I’m excited. Stressed, though … going through the “am I too hairy, am I not hairy enough, he’s so hot why does he like me” type of stuff over it

    QVC has a room a/c that you can look into, Stephanie…should be able to see it online at their website. There’s no way I could do w/o a/c down here in the south…earlier this week it was near 100 everyday with a heat index of over 110. Walk outside & it was like you were walking into an oven. Finally on Thursday we “cooled down” to 93, lol. It’s like this all summer long & our hot weather lasts until late October with the highs even then being in the 80’s. But I would rather live here than with snow!

    Snow is cuddling weather — hot weather is “ewww, get away from me” weather!!

    It’s nice today, no humidity. Have to run over and visit dad but otherwise I’ll be home all weekend trying to finish some projects.

    Also need to order a lot of parts for my car, cosmetic stuff … so will be doing some searches online for pics of other cars like mine to see what I should do to make her look good.

    I’m tired today so will definitely nap later on. Just uhh took care of myself — I’m pretty frisky today — and love to take a nap when I’m done but wanted to finish up some work
