This heat is just incredible

Just saw on the news that at 3:45 am it was 85 degrees in Boston. It set a record and that astounds me it could be that hot at that time.
More than 100 people were treated at Fenway Park last night for heat-related problems. It was 20 degrees hotter in the stadium due to all the people. They stopped beer sales at the end of the 7th inning … not sure why. I can’t even fathom sitting among 30 thousand people when it’s almost 100 degrees.
Today is supposed to be the really really bad day in this area, breaking records all over for electricity consumption, temperature, heat index, etc. I just went up to my attic and I was dreading it, but with the windows open (and the fans aren’t hooked up yet) there is a nice breeze, though it’s a hot breeze. I imagine as the day progresses it will just get hotter and hotter.
Watched/listened to VH1 Classic last night as they reran the 1st day of MTV from 25 years ago. Wow, it brought back some memories!! I only had it on for a few hours but I was lost in nostalgia. I wish they’d play those old videos again, maybe set up a special night and play 5 or 6 hours of the old, old videos. I do listen/watch VH1 Classic often because they play some pretty obscure videos.
Expecting the new Rodney Moore Seattle Hairy Girls 7 & 8 DVD today or tomorrow but the Ember DVD is still being edited — again. Of course, he blames his bad editing on the cameraman. I told him camera angles have nothing to do with him leaving the same scene in 3 times!
