The AMA, my ex and choice

The AMA wants foods with a high sodium content to be labeled as so. Foods such as deli meats are extremely high in sodium so those are some they want warning labels put on. My ex loved deli food and I’m surprised he never moved to Brooklyn, became a Jew, so he could live in a deli!

But, he also knew not to eat it often. I think the average person knows that sodium isn’t good for you and has “bad” food on occasion. I taught him to read food labels for sugar, carbs, sodium etc to make good food choices. Doesn’t mean I didn’t worry about him when he ate bad foods (and still do).

But, do we need to regulate human behavior so severely? What’s wrong with personal responsibility? Oh wait, they say eggs are bad for you, will those have a label on them, too?

Too much of anything isn’t good for you
