I'm so jealous. Here on the west coast, A's out of the playoffs. Giants even further out of the playoffs and no more Barry Bonds. On the football front, even I got to score more often than the Raiders and 49ers combined are scoring now, and I was a virgin until I was 28.

With the tradition of Y.A. Tittle, John Brodie, Joe Montana and Steve Young, Daryle Lamonica, Ken Stabler, and Jim Plunkett, Raiders and 49er fans used to have an expectation that the quarterback would be a legitimate candidate for the Hall of Fame. Now we are happy if he can just remember all the plays. Life goes on.
