Pam,
It has been a long time since I viewed this site, and I will tell you why.
You made a comment I thought was racist so I stop viewing your site. Now, I love hairy women and I do miss this site, but I can not continue to support or view this site any longer and I will tell you why.
Last year you made a comment about Don Imus and his statement about the Rutgers Basketball team and the “nappy headed hoes” comment.
I believe you stated if this were a black person who made this comment no one would have this type of reaction.
Well, I think if Barack Obama had made this comment he would not be in the position, a US Senator and running for President.
If Jesse Jackson, Michael Jordan, Colin Powell, Oprah Winfrey or any other Black person with distinguished qualities would have made that type of comment, they would have paid for it publicly. David Shurter, of MSNBC, made a comment about Chelsy Clinton “being pimped out” by Hilliry Clinton.
And just this past week Randi Rhodes, a female talk show host, maked the comment about Hilliary Clinton and Geraldine Farraro being “hoes”.
Both Randi Rhodes and David Shurter were suspended, Just like Don Imus. And, they are both White.
Those girls are college kids and did not deserve that. Those comments, as well as the comments towards Chelsey, Hillary, and Ms. Ferraro, are uncall for regardless of who makes them.
I know a lot of rappers, people on Jerry Springers, people in trailer parks, women magazines publishers, and porn stars make these types comments, but these are not people with good public qualities.
Now, I will continue to love hairy women regardless of their color, but I can no longer support your site with comments such as these.
Don’t make me laugh. Cutting off your nose to spite your face like a 2-year old child. Waah waah waah. Took you an entire year to come back to tell me why you left? How childish.
Don Imus — what do you think of it all? If he were black, would there be such controversy? Aren’t rap lyrics that put down all women much worse than his comments?
THAT is what I said. I did not say “if he were black no one would have this type of reaction”. I ASKED if there would be such controversy.
I stand behind what I said.
Is this why Rhodes and Shurter got suspended?
Do you listen to rap?
If he was Black like Obama, Oprah, Jackson, and Jordan yes it would be such a controversy.
Just like Rhodes and Shurter.
If you want to keep race on your site, like the guy who call Hairy Harley the N word, then you have that choice.
Keep up the good work. You should make David Duke proud.
For someone who made such a grandstand of pronouncing he was leaving you sure seem to want to stick around.
I approved that “N” comment because unless it’s spam, I don’t censor. If he wants to look like a total jerk and make such a comment under his own email and IP, so be it.
Tell me, was Jesse Jackson “fired” when he referred to Brooklyn as Hymietown and Jews as Hymies?
Oh wait, you say he would have been punished. But, he wasn’t.
“If Jesse Jackson, Michael Jordan, Colin Powell, Oprah Winfrey or any other Black person with distinguished qualities would have made that type of comment, they would have paid for it”
Did he pay for it? Nope.
Is your female talk show host just that, or a shock radio host like Don Imus is, who is PAID to make nasty disgusting comments? He did so and was fired. It’s what they paid him to do, to cause controversy
Pam,
You contacted me after a year and asked why I have not been on this site in a while, I told you why.
Jesse Jackson never became President. And, he pubically paid for his comments
Don Imus is back to work.
I never contacted you. Nice try.
How did Jesse Jackson pay for his comments? You said if someone like him ever made a comment like that, they would have paid for it. How did he pay for it?
Don Imus was fired and got his job back so he lost a lot of money. I didn’t see Jesse Jackson losing any money for referring to Jews as Hymies.
Jackson never became President that is a lost of a lot of money. What job did Jackson have, besides running his mouth. He lost a lot of money, and rightfully so, for making that stupid comment.
The email sent to me Feb. 16th by pam@hairtostay.com
Quote “If you haven’t been to site in a while, why not come back?……. If you visit the site and post, don’t forget to advantage of the new blog feature. As always, thank you for support to natural, hairy and hirsute women. Pam”
That was sent to me Feb. 16th 2008.
You are beginning to sound like Hillary Clinton
That email was sent to you in a form email about a totally different website that has absolutely nothing to do with this site.
Again, if you are leaving and want to be a drama queen — LEAVE.
Hello there Hairy One,
Well, let me says this, I have never used this email before, but I kind got upset with one of your commentor who told you he will never use the website again because it was racism.
Well, don’t discourage because now days, ever since Obama started running run for president you can not refer to African-American as a Black Man or Nigger. Well buddy you better learning to accept the facts that it will be a long time before, the “Nigger” will be drop of the vocabulary from the White American Culture.
Hello and thanks for your comment.
I do not like the N word because of the history of the word. It’s like calling someone a Kike or a Dago or something like that– it’s highly derogatory. However, the literal translation of the word means “ignorant” so if someone calls someone the N word, they are simply being ignorant.
White people can not use the N word. Black people can call each other the N word. It’s a cultural thing and I found that out by asking some black friends. And no, I don’t need to be politically correct and use African-American. What am I, a Fat-American? LOL
Comparing Don Imus to Jesse Jackson or Oprah Winfrey is apples and oranges. Imus is a shock jock, hired to shock people. Did he go too far? Perhaps. What if he had called the Boston Celtics those “nappy headed guys?” Would it have had the same reaction? Was it more damaging as it was a highly regarded group of girls?
Comedian Michael Richards was drunk and went on an anti-black tirade and it was recorded, but he wasn’t drummed out of the industry. He apologized and moved on. Don Imus and team should have apologized much quicker.
Remember a drunk Mel Gibson and his anti-Jewish rant? He wasn’t fired from Hollywood. I could go on and on.
You can’t stop prejudice or racism. Anyone who knows me will tell you I fight for equality and prejudice every day.
I believe that Jesse Jackson makes more money in a year than the office of US Prez pays. Look it up, it’s NOT a high paying job - especially when you consider what it entails…
And Pam is right about the “N” word. I dated a black guy for about 3 years (who preferred to be called black and not African American) and he constantly called his friends “nigger” and even jokingly asked me a few times if I was sure I didn’t have any “nigger blood” in me.
I consider all of those shock jocks idiots…and Jerry Springer…along with a few others in this world. You’ll never be able to please all of the people all of the time. I thought everyone learned that in grade school, lol. All you can do is do YOUR part to make the world a better place…
They are idiots who are paid to have a persona and cause controversy. Do they go too far? Of course. When Jerry Springer stopped the fights, the ratings plummeted so they brought it back. Unfortunately, people WANT to see that trash.
The bottom line is I made a comment that was interpreted to be racist by one person. I think he took my comment out of context. You can’t compare Don Imus to Jesse Jackson or Oprah Winfrey.
Man! thats hot. fuckign wanking over that
