Wish I had great news to share about Chris, but I don’t. Over the past 2 weeks he’d made it very clear he wants to keep things at a friendship level only. Sure, that’s ok, but it hurts that he’s rejecting me because I’m so hairy. Labor Day went by and he didn’t say he wanted to meet. Since tomorrow is a holiday, I was thinking maybe he’d suggest it, but no such thing and in fact, I haven’t even heard from him in a few days. And, in that last emaill he said something like “if we ever met” which tells me — no way does he want to meet.

Well, life goes on. It hurts. Bad.
