Playing Catch Up

Yep, that’s what I’m doing today, catching up on so many things. First, my “romance” is over before it got off the ground. He had absolutely no technical know-how and even getting an email from him was a major thing. We’re looking for different things, too. But, someone who isn’t into computers isn’t for me. My last few relationships were with guys with no technical knowledge. One could not even use a mouse correctly, and then there was the guy who decided he’d use the computer at an office where he was doing a job, and he got porn on the computer somehow but then could not figure out how to shut it down or get rid of it. He called me in a panic!

Dad is still hospitalized and they still have not isolated the source of the internal bleeding. He was supposed to have some test today but it didn’t happen, so maybe tomorrow.

Did a lot of work today including launching my poster store and my weight loss site. The latter still needs a tiny bit of tweaking but that’s for tomorrow.

Watching American Idol right now but so far it’s just boring with a lot of bad talent.

Ok, so, here is the car I’ll probably be purchasing, and you can click on it to see the full-sized version. I’ll be talking to my Pontiac guy tomorrow to see if it’s the right purchase for me, but it looks almost positive that it will be mine. My only issue is where to put it — 3 cars so far! This 4th would have to be garaged but it’s pretty hard to find a decent garage space for a reasonable price. Oh yeah, this would be a birthday gift for me. Another year older today, doo dah doo dah. Very uneventful, just another day, but I’m sure in a bit it will hit me pretty hard.

    Thanks, all!

He can’t have the colonoscopy until he’s uhm, cleaned out, and he’s having issues with that. He’s been on a liquid diet for 2 days which doesn’t help, but yesterday he had to drink a few quarts of some magnesium drink that’s suppposed to move things along. I just woke up — stress knocked me on my ass if I slept more than 10 hours (which I haven’t done in years) — so haven’t called mom yet to see what’s going on yet.

They aren’t worried about the bleeding as much as the pneumonia, and they said he’s severely anemic which is why they keep checking his blood each day. I can’t even imagine any more parts of his body going into trouble.

As for the car, obviously my time has been limited but if I can get together with my car guy and negotiate everything, the car will be mine. The price is very low which worries me a little but I’ve already bought one car from him and it was in amazing shape.

Just talked to mom, she can’t get an answer at his room so she says he’s probably having the test. He could not have it right away since he was on Cumadin. He went in on Wednesday, then had to clear his system of it for 3 days, and on Sundays the hospital isn’t fully staffed. Monday they gave him the magnesium something or other but it didn’t work, so yesterday they gave him more of it, and I assume right now he’s having the colonoscopy and some gastric test.

Happy Belated Birthday! I didn’t know its ur birthday!!! If u come to Britain I’ll hire some strippers and throw ya a party! The strippers are for me though LOL!

I hope the tests go ok.

The car is gorgeous! U need to get a Convertible so when I move back to the states we can go cruising with the top down!

I saw this American vehicle mag here and they had a Lincoln Continental Bill Blass edition from like the 60’s or 70’s and it was sooooooo cute and Blue my fave color! They also had a 56′ which is sex on wheels and it was in metallic silver *drool*!

Thanks! I haven’t decided 100% on the car, just 99% lol. I hope to talk to him this weekend and then make my final decision.

Dad had his colonoscopy and it was clear, so they now feel the bleeding was because he was on Cumadin and his doctor wasn’t properly monitoring it, though he went in every few weeks for bloodwork. He is back on it but under another doctor’s care who will monitor him better. It looks like he’ll be there several more days then is going into a rehab hospital for a while.
