Oy vey

Crazy busy! The fat woman site is nearly done and should be ready to release tonight. I updated Hair To Stay, the Hairy Pits Blog, the Natural Women Blog, The Sex Toys Blog and Hairy Pictures.

Dad is back in the hospital. Long story, he was rushed there on the weekend and the hospital said nothing was wrong and released him, even though he said he had trouble breathing. Next night he passed out and was rushed back and this time they read the X-rays right, I guess, as he has pneumonia, a severe case, among other things. He can’t walk anymore due to his leg but they don’t know why and he’s not strong enough to have a hip replacement. Not sure if he’ll go into a long-care facility or not after this hospitalization. Friggin’ hospital sent him home as sick as he was. Blood tests confirmed he also had another heart attack between the time he was at the hospital initially and the time he was admitted

Laser treatment this weekend which I nearly forgot about. This should be the last one untl March when it’s light enough out to drive at night. I prefer the night appointments over weekends.

Have any ladies tried the new makeup, Dermacia? I bought a bottle and will be using it soon, just wondering how others thought of it. $45 a bottle … it better transform me into a raving beauty at that price.

    Sorry, I lied, it’s $48 a bottle. I had a $3 coupon from CVS.

I also bought the moisture spray for $28 (https://shop1.dermacia.com/MoistureSpray.aspx), the cleanser for $20 (https://shop1.dermacia.com/BreathableCleanser.aspx) and still need a few other things.

It costs money to look good :)

Hope your dad will be better soon. I’ll be back next Wednesday from taking care of my parents…guess I’ll get behind in Trivia again, lol…I tend to forget about it when I’m there for some reason.

I don’t wear foundation, so probably won’t try it. The only thing I do is retinol A and moisturizer at night, and sometimes some “clear makeup” that I saw on QVC once by philosophy…love the way it makes my face feel so soft & it gives you a dewy look.

I have to wear foundation … you must have a very light beard. I don’t need the darker makeup now, though …. and feel naked without it, but this is gel-like, light and comes off easily with their cleaner. I did buy their spritz moisturizer but forget to use it.

I like the Philosophy scented shower gels. I have the chocolate mocha in the shower now and the strawberry milk shake in the big bathroom. The peppermint is awesome, I need to remember to buy some as it’s a holiday item.

Hey, I’m back…dad is worse than ever & I don’t know how much longer mom can put up with him all by herself. This morning he didn’t recognize my car & asked my brother whose it was. When my brother reminded him it was mine, dad told him it couldn’t be mine because I had gone. (just 30 minutes earlier, he’d come down where I was sleeping & saw me). He’s gotten sarcastic as hell with mom, gives her a fight every day about changing his clothes or taking a shower & now she has to remind him to brush his teeth, too. I’m worried about mom putting up with him 24/7 but she says she’s used to it and wants to keep him home as long as she can. I’ll be surprised if that’s 6 more months - he’s rapidly deteriorating mentally and she can’t handle that alone, especially being as weak as she is after her surgery. You don’t exactly bounce back from operations when you’re in your 70’s. The whole thing is so damn sad….the weird thing is, he’s gotten so much better physically - doesn’t have to take his high blood pressure OR heart meds anymore & thanks to his walking for years before the Alzheimer’s struck hard, his body is strong.

oops, forgot to ask about your dad - any new news?? ((hugs))

Seems like a similar situation here, but mom has no more patience and yells at dad. He’s going into a rehab facility probably by the weekend.
