Yes, they both explained to me about the disk pressing on the nerve & both said that in time it would probably relax & the bulging disk would go back into place on its own.

I saw some friends in Walmart today & they asked about my neck. Told them it was pretty much healed now, altho I have to watch that I don't pick up too much weighty things. Later I saw them & they asked me who had put the 12 packs of soda in my cart, lol. I told them I'd had to do it & the wife threatened to tell my mom, lmao.

The neurologist really, really wanted to give me a shot of Botox in my neck, but I knew that was only going to block the pain & I was concerned that I may further injure it and not even know it, plus the Botox would wear off after a while. I figured out that he really just wanted me to spend the money on that - $700, at least - instead of trying the meds at a much cheaper price for me. I decided not to go back to him when he wouldn't renew the meds (after he told me he would) and thankfully the GP didn't mind giving me the meds.

He's a really nice doctor & has also prescribed that new drug Chantix to help me quit smoking. It seems to be working - you take it for a while to build up in your system and it decreases your desire for nicotine. I've noticed I don't want a cig as much as I used to, even when I'm under a lot of stress, which was a really big trigger for me. I've chosen my quit date as Thanksgiving weekend, since I'll be home with my parents & they don't allow smoking in the house since dad quit several years ago...So wish me luck!!

Some doctors only believe in meds. I don't like meds as they mask the pain and don't fix the problem.

See, a pinched nerve is the disk pressing on the nerve. To fix it, you have to get it off the nerve, and that's what a chiropractor does, by manipulating the spine. 2 sessions and I feel a lot better, and I'll see her 3 times this week and probably 3 times next week and it should be all better. She charges just $25 a session -- I bet if it went through insurance it would be triple that :(

I asked both the GP & the neurologist about going to a chiropractor and they both said 'NO!'
They claimed it would do more harm than good in the end. Altho the GP did suggest I get a deep tissue massage done on my shoulders, as they are so tight - he said he'd never felt someone's shoulder muscles as tight as mine...But then I finally got better, so never did go do that. I just can't afford another medical bill right now - am still paying off the neurologist.

The only thing that helps me is the chiropractor. Ice does help a bit but being cracked is what moves the disk off the nerve.

The last thing I picked up that was heavy was my new battery, must have weighed 30 lbs

Sounds like you "caught" my neck problem...what you're describing is the same thing I had, especially if the tingling started later than the first pain. The only thing that helped me (besides drugs) was time...and I mean like 4 months! And even then, don't pick up anything that weighs very much, or it will kick up again...

There are plenty of them, but people don't realize men want to see older women. The only site I have is the Hairy MILFs Blog (http://www.hairymilfsblog.com/) but older women content isn't easy to find.

Since you mentioned the possibility of something new, I wanted to mention that the only input I might have for your suggestion box concerns the relative youth of all the women who appear on these sites.

I am that apparently somewhat rare 50+ year old man who prefers women my own age. Am I just missing them or is there a distinct lack of hirsute models born prior to 1960?
