Oh, yeah, it was Friday the 13th!

Began badly when someone said something that just pissed me off! Told me I should be looking for a man “in real life” or words to that effect instead of using the Internet. Now, my hirsute ladies who read this will fully understand why “we” do this online and not in person, right? Man, I HATE when people try to tell me how to run my life. Let them live in my shoes for a week and then we’ll see. Everyone always thinks they know what’s best for you without really knowing you, ya know?

Then I was stressed over my car(s) and ran into someone who offered me a ride so I could take a weekend vacation and I jumped at the chance. Ran home, grabbed the laptop so I could work (but not upload, insecure server and all) but then mom called and dad was at the ER — again. He’s been admitted but I’m not sure how long he’ll be there. He was doing really well but this time it’s symptoms from his advanced COPD, and I have a feeling since it’s not heart-related they’ll send him home after a few days.

Now I’m home and chilling. Got stuff to do at home this weekend anyway so it’s not a “bad” thing, but I’ll go away in a few weeks, probably after the car is done.

Did hear from my guy and he gave me the greatest compliment, basically saying even if I removed all the hair he’s still want to get to know me as he thinks — well, this or that — but you get the gist. You ladies know what I mean, right? It just makes you melt to hear that. But, I’m keeping it real, not getting overly attached yet, not falling hard or anything, just enjoying getting to know him. As I said to someone earlier today, it’s nice to have someone making me feel good like this.

Was about to write a post on the coffee blog and I forgot I had upgraded and panicked, thinking my site had been hacked! Too many sites but Summer should be proud of me — no new sites for what, 2 months now?

Sorry to hear about your dad. I’ll send positive thoughts and good vibes his way. And if anyone deserves to get out of dodge for a days and get away on a little vacation it’s you. My sister’s actually coming out the first week of July and she wants to visit your neck of the woods. I’ve only been in that area twice so I’m hoping you might have some good recommendations for places to see/eat, etc.

Wow, 2 whole months - way to go!!! I didn’t realize it had been that long; figured you were just keeping quiet about any new sites so I wouldn’t ride your ass, lol. Bet you won’t make it another 2 months though, LMAO. :D

4 weeks from today & I’ll be picking up NZ at the airport for a 5 week visit. Starting to get nervous…Really gotta get some serious cleaning done, too. I am not the neatest person in the world & while he says that doesn’t bother him, I have a feeling he’s somewhat more organized than I am & eventually messiness does bother neat freaks. At least I come by it honestly - my grandmother & mom & both aunts are terrible housekeepers. I’m the neatest of the bunch, but that’s not saying a lot…

Hope things work out with this new guy - I agree with you about going slowly. I know I held back a good bit when I first started talking to my guy (still am to a degree until we actually meet and get to talk in person). Luckily for me, he was very patient and persistent at the same time. So don’t listen to whomever told you that crap about meeting guys on the internet.

Sure, just tell me what area specifically and I’ll be able to help

Well, I have a couple of new sites, just not adult related … either a new car site or those I’ve redeveloped.

I know it’s me, but I’d never invite some guy from another country to stay with me, hell, not even from my country. I’m just too untrusting. Any time a guy has flown out to meet me they’ve always stayed at a motel.

This new guy is asking about the hair — a little — but it’s in the correct context so I don’t really mind. As long as he doesn’t ask for pics … that’s the biggest turn-off of all. He’s across the country now but will be moving about 6 hours from me. Not sure when, but getting to know him is fun. I’m still in the “wow, this good looking built stud is interested in ME?” phase. It’s like I’m waiting for the punch line of this colossal joke.
