So much of the English language is imprecise. I guess the word "fat" is no exception. If you browse the blog discussions about Britney Spears' onstage performance debacle a few weeks ago, many people said she was "fat". Huh?

I have few hard and fast rules in life. But one of them is to never try to talk people out of the defintions they find comfortable. As with the Borg, it is futile.

I will just note that in my own experience, as a social nudist and former card carrying member of the American Sunbathers' Association (ASA) I never saw a naked woman I didn't like. All body types are welcome at ASA facilities and events. Just leave those pre conceived cultural notions about beauty, etc. at home.

Good for you, Pam. More women in this world should be honest with themselves. I am a fat man, it is just a physical description. There is nothing wrong with being fat or hairy for that matter. What is important is who you are, not what you look like. I don't mean to say that physical attraction isn't important between two people, just that there are different strokes for different folks. For each person, like myself, who likes fat, hairy girls there are those who like the skinny, bald, model-types. Whatever works for you.
