Began with Friday the 13th! Mine was uneventful actually, though I forgot it was the 13th until that night. This weekend has been pretty quiet. Cleaned out some kitchen cabinets, worked on my video room (still putting stuff back after it was redone) and learned more about the DVD duplicator but mostly worked on my eBook which I want to finish off this month if possible.

Yesterday I watched Transamerica for the 2nd time. I find I like watching a movie a 2nd time as I see all kinds of things I missed the first time. I did take a nap halfway through so had to finish it up last night. I haven’t been sleeping that well, probably due to the weather.

Winter is here! I put on the heat for the first time yesterday and now it will be on until April or so. I hate the smell of the radiators the first time you use them and I just remembered I have to bleed them and I forgot …. will do it before I go to bed tonight.

I found a new Chinese restaurant not too far from me, and I got some hot and sour soup to go yesterday, and nuked it today and damn, it was GOOD. Nice and spicy, not too much tofu but no black mushrooms or wood ears as they’re called. I can see on cold days I’ll be getting soup
