I did tell him about my guy from NZ coming…and he’s one of the few that hasn’t given me that look you spoke of when I told them we met online. Several people have expressed their concern but the ones close to me trust my judgement and they’re the only ones I worry about. So just keep on following your instincts & just be careful. I remember living in NY without a/c…don’t know how Stephanie does it. I sure as hell couldn’t do it down here - and at the point in my life where I’m having hot flashes at night. I wake up a few nights a week feeling like I’m burning up with fever, but no night sweats yet and oddly I’m never hot in the daytime. But some nights the whole bed is HOT from my body heat. I have to move over to get back to sleep, lmao…and that’s a/c AND a ceiling fan going! Hate to even think about not having a/c with this going on…See what you have to look forward to, Pammie?

Glad you & your guy finally got to actually talk.

Guy and I talked tonight, just got off the phone with him. He did mention he has vacation time coming up, but he’s talking about August. With the humidity around here in August all I want to do is stay in and work in the air-conditioned house!

It’s nice today, no humidity. Have to run over and visit dad but otherwise I’ll be home all weekend trying to finish some projects.

Also need to order a lot of parts for my car, cosmetic stuff … so will be doing some searches online for pics of other cars like mine to see what I should do to make her look good.

I’m tired today so will definitely nap later on. Just uhh took care of myself — I’m pretty frisky today — and love to take a nap when I’m done but wanted to finish up some work

Well, I have a couple of new sites, just not adult related … either a new car site or those I’ve redeveloped.

I know it’s me, but I’d never invite some guy from another country to stay with me, hell, not even from my country. I’m just too untrusting. Any time a guy has flown out to meet me they’ve always stayed at a motel.

This new guy is asking about the hair — a little — but it’s in the correct context so I don’t really mind. As long as he doesn’t ask for pics … that’s the biggest turn-off of all. He’s across the country now but will be moving about 6 hours from me. Not sure when, but getting to know him is fun. I’m still in the “wow, this good looking built stud is interested in ME?” phase. It’s like I’m waiting for the punch line of this colossal joke.

4 weeks from today & I’ll be picking up NZ at the airport for a 5 week visit. Starting to get nervous…Really gotta get some serious cleaning done, too. I am not the neatest person in the world & while he says that doesn’t bother him, I have a feeling he’s somewhat more organized than I am & eventually messiness does bother neat freaks. At least I come by it honestly - my grandmother & mom & both aunts are terrible housekeepers. I’m the neatest of the bunch, but that’s not saying a lot…

Hope things work out with this new guy - I agree with you about going slowly. I know I held back a good bit when I first started talking to my guy (still am to a degree until we actually meet and get to talk in person). Luckily for me, he was very patient and persistent at the same time. So don’t listen to whomever told you that crap about meeting guys on the internet.

I did see a portable room air conditioner at Target I think … it looks like a portable heater unit but it’s an a/c instead. You empty it once a day and it’s for small apartments and rooms without a window. I don’t remember the price.

It was cool last night. I slept with a bedroom window open and got up around 2 and was freezing! Of course, half asleep I shut it with my bad shoulder like a moron!

The new guy and I’ll be talking on the phone this weekend so I’m excited. Stressed, though … going through the “am I too hairy, am I not hairy enough, he’s so hot why does he like me” type of stuff over it

The new guy and I did talk about the hair, but he asked about it in such a way that it wasn’t demeaning, degrading and didn’t insult me at all. He was curious, he asked, and we moved on, after I asked about HIS pubic hair!!

I don’t mind the $100 per treatment now as I can see it will be 2/3 times a year at most. Last year I was going every 2 months or so, it was like a crutch and I was afraid not to go. But now I see I really don’t need it so often. I should know in a few days how this one took. I still have some pretty thick dark hairs in the upper lip area. Not sure why that area is so difficult.

Yes, mine is a real spa with a real website, too. They do facials, hair work, nails, massages, makeup, laser, waxing, you name it. It’s right off the highway, too!

You mentioned all the girls looking like Cosmo models. One time I was telling my tech that it was embarrassing walking out and they knew what I had done, but she said, “you’d not believe what some of them have done!” and apparently some are pretty furry, too!

I can’t remember exactly how much I paid because I originally signed up like a year and half ago (I want to say it was $2000, which I’ll be paying off for the next 20 years). It was through one of the chains . You pay this flat rate and after like your 6th or 7th treatment - it turns into their two year guarantee. Meaning any time within the next two years there’s hair growth - I come back. Since I move so much it was the perfect fit because they have locations everywhere and w/ the PCOS the hair growth doesn’t just dissapear after 6 sessions.

So yours is really a spa? That sounds fun and relaxing. I might just have to check that out.

What type of contract? Mine was 5 sessions at $400 each with the 6th free, then $100 for each touch-up but I can quit at any time.

Some of the women at this spa are just too thin and too pretty! The woman who does my laser, though, is a little chubby and really down to earth and fun. I am not embarrassed at all having her do me, so to speak.

What type of laser do you have? They use the Lyra laser for me

I’ve got laser on Sunday (yeah summer hours… not that it’s actually summer here… or spring for that matter). I always hate going but I’m always glad I did once it’s over. And is it me or do the women that work in those places always look like they walked off a Cosmo ad?

It’s hard to find that balance between admirer and fetishist, it’s so true. It’s like I know I need a hair lover who will love the hair, yet I don’t want someone who is so obsessed with the hair. And, when they have always fantasized about it and never had anyone with it, it’s worse. I had someone who had the fantasy and then told me he “experienced it”,with me so didn’t need to do it again, and I felt like I was a lab animal or something.

I talk to a lot of decent hair lovin’ guys on hairy chat, but none in this state. I’m not opposed to a long-distance relationship (this guy is 6 hours away) but they need to ask about ME and not the hair.

I’ve lost most of the interest in this guy because he wants to talk about nothing but the hair, or sex. I have no issues talking about either, but in the right context and at the right time.

It’s always so hard to find that person who walks the line between hair admirer and hair obsessor. But I guess it’s just like anything (people who date solely based on looks, nationality, etc). Why is it so freakin’ hard to find a decent guy?

I like my hair, but don’t feel I should remove it just to meet someone.

I’m thinking maybe because it’s covered in bonding material and cured, they feel it’s much harder? Maybe just the silver amalgam is too soft for a few hours?

But the root canal guy uses Marcaine that wears off in an hour, but she uses another form (I can’t have Novocaine due to the Epinephrine) and it took 4 hours for it to wear off. I had some soup after it was done but that was hard to eat with half my mouth numb

I planted things & weeded garden beds after work today…headed to a long, hot bath!
