Well, the guy who was interested is history, and I’m not broken up over it. He asked if I was still interested and, since I don’t lie, told him I lost a lot of interest when he asked for pics that resembled my hairiness, plus he only asked about the hair and sex — never anything else. I’m much more than hair. So, he wrote back, said he was sorry and wished me good luck.

It’s his loss.

Got laser tonight which I nearly forgot about but fortunately they called to remind me. I believe I last went in December so it’s been a while, but I don’t really need it other than one small spot. I’m looking forward to having it done!

Yeah, really. Been chatting with this guy online for a few days, mostly nonsensical flirtation with a bit of car talk thrown in. Today he asked me to meet him for coffee.

. My treat of course which is the way it should be.

THAT part I liked! Of all the guys I’ve met for coffee, no one has ever bought one for me. Granted, I always show up early, grab the table I want, and order my own, and in a few cases the guy offered to buy me a refill, but in many cases they didn’t offer at all.

I don’t really know much about him but it’s ok, I’d still like to meet him. He seems really cool and I kinda like not knowing that much other than name and age — don’t even know height or weight (though from his pic he looks like a big boy, which I like). He’s not a hair lover as far as I know but I’m also only meeting him as a friend with no romantic involvement, so it won’t matter. He likes old cars and that’s good enough for me.

American Idol is on soon and there are 3 left, so tonight they eliminate 1 and next week is the finale. This year was so blah for me, no one really stood out as a star. If I had to vote for one of the remaining 3 — David Cook, Syesha Mercado or David Archuletta, I’d vote for David Cook as he can mix things up differently, but his voice isn’t awesome. Archuletta’s voice is just so-so and Syesha leaves me cold for some reason.

My prediction is Syesha will be voted off tonight, it will be David vs. David with Cook winning next week.

Went to work on Hairy Videos today and the site was dead. I didn’t totally panic, did some research then asked for help and a backup was restored and all is fine. We aren’t sure why it crashed but don’t forget I’m having a huge half-price clearance sale. I’d like to get rid of 100 titles of DVDs and then put up new software with the remaining few titles I plan to keep.

On another forum a woman and I were chatting after I made a post about PCOS. She has it and asked me about laser, so I told her of my experiences and encouraged her to go for it. She went yesterday and I felt so good when she said it didn’t hurt too much and she was glad she had it done. She should need 7/8 treatments and that’s it. I haven’t gone in what, 5 months now? I think I have an appointment next week.

This has been an interesting few days. Yesterday I read about a Word Press exploit (this site runs Word Press) and sure enough, it got me. I managed to delete all the exploited files, fix the database, and there really was no damage fortunately. It was more of a pain in the ass than anything. I managed to ban the prejudiced moron who kept trying to post, too.

I put up a new poll and will give it a few more weeks and then we’ll see how things change. I did get quite a few requests to go back to posting about my life as well as adding in some more free pics, so will incorporate both soon, I promise.

Been pretty busy lately. Got the Firebird totally squared away and fixed the starting issue by myself I believe … don’t ask. But I learned quite a bit in the process so it was worth the money it cost to fix things that weren’t broken in the first place. Won’t be driving her for a few days as the weather is about to turn bad after 9 days of 60+ degree days including 2 days over 75. I have actually shut my heat off for the season (2 days after getting the $730 heating bill, of course) but today it was chilly so I put it back on and grabbed the blankets I hadn’t been using. Took a nap this afternoon for 90 minutes, woke up, then went back to sleep for another hour. Guess I needed the rest.

Have laser this week as it was canceled for last week. Haven’t gone since what, December? I really only have one trouble area and one small spot that needs work so I don’t really have to go but will. I think from here on out it will be every 4-6 months.

Not much new on the male front. I’m just not into dating anyone right now, as odd as it sounds. I had lunch and dinner with my car friend but only as friends. Had a couple of guys interested but for some reason I’m just not that interested. Maybe they just aren’t the right guys, ya know?

I’ve been working on all my sites and have updated Hair to Stay, Frisky Blogs, Hairy Pictures, Hairy Website Reviews as well as many others. Haven’t put up any new sites in a while, just updating older ones.

I’ve been watching American Idol while I work but don’t go into the living room to watch it, so am not into it as much as in past years. I don’t know why Brooke is still in the competition and hope she’s voted off soon. Just 4 weeks left of American Idol and then So You Think You Can Dance begins a new season. That’s one you have to watch and can’t just listen to like American Idol!

In the 30’s today which may sound cold, but yesterday it hit 17 degrees and when I woke up it was 8 degrees. EIGHT DEGREES!! With the wind chill factor it was below zero. Tuesday it will be close to 60, so of course I thought, “oh boy, I can take out the Firebird” until I realized it has no engine since it was pulled to be painted. DUH. May be a good day to see if my restoration is done yet.

Had another laser session today and amazingly, I didn’t need it. I hadn’t had one in a few months but if I had skipped today, it would have been fine. I think I’m at the point where I can go twice a year. No pain at all today, no redness, nothing.

No word from the boytoy but I lost interest when he wasn’t around much. Pithy emails, getting much too sexual, not asking about me, etc. Unfortunately I don’t have patience for games. I “may” meet someone on Tuesday, we’ll have to see.

Saw a TV commercial today to remind me that American Idol begins January 15th. Wow. Last year was a bust for me. The only one with talent was Melinda Doolittle and I haven’t heard of an album from her yet. I hope this year they have better talent.

Crazy busy! The fat woman site is nearly done and should be ready to release tonight. I updated Hair To Stay, the Hairy Pits Blog, the Natural Women Blog, The Sex Toys Blog and Hairy Pictures.

Dad is back in the hospital. Long story, he was rushed there on the weekend and the hospital said nothing was wrong and released him, even though he said he had trouble breathing. Next night he passed out and was rushed back and this time they read the X-rays right, I guess, as he has pneumonia, a severe case, among other things. He can’t walk anymore due to his leg but they don’t know why and he’s not strong enough to have a hip replacement. Not sure if he’ll go into a long-care facility or not after this hospitalization. Friggin’ hospital sent him home as sick as he was. Blood tests confirmed he also had another heart attack between the time he was at the hospital initially and the time he was admitted

Laser treatment this weekend which I nearly forgot about. This should be the last one untl March when it’s light enough out to drive at night. I prefer the night appointments over weekends.

Have any ladies tried the new makeup, Dermacia? I bought a bottle and will be using it soon, just wondering how others thought of it. $45 a bottle … it better transform me into a raving beauty at that price.

Had another laser appointment tonight and it went fine, no pain at all, didn’t even feel it. I do get a little emotional when I have it done and came home hoping to hear from that special guy, but no luck, despite the face he was on both MySpace and HairySpace. Perhaps he’s changed his mind …

Any plans for the Labor Day holiday weekend? I plan to work tomorrow, do some stuff around the house … nothing special.

Car is still at the mechanic while I wait for the battery tray to come in. It has to go to a muffler shop since the tailpipe is welded on and it needs to be removed and then put back on after being fixed. Something went wrong with it when it kept banging the underside of the car. My car guy told me today that he thought the other side muffler was rusting, so I’ll have them check it while it’s there. The floor pans are solid as we hoped and my mechanic says she’s just a real beauty. I still can’t believe I got such an amazing car for such a great price. I should have paid about 40% more than I did, I feel. Pictures up on My Space for those who are in my friends’ list and eventually I’ll get some put up elsewhere. I’ll be taking a lot more next week once it’s on the road, which should be within a week. The color is ugly as hell but the body is beautiful as is the paint.

I’m just lucky I had a classic car expert with me so I had the right advice or I’d have missed so many things (and I know he’s reading this since he reads this blog every day but he won’t post dammit!!). I have a lot of buddies who gave me good advice as well, including one guy who has — believe it or not –35 to 40 cars including 6 GTOs and the rest mostly Firebirds and Trans-Ams. He restores them himself and he finds these amazing cars, like a real GTO in fairly decent shape for $1,000. Or, the guy in Florida who I texted to tell him I bought it and he came back with “outfuckingstanding!!!”

I have a date on Tuesday with someone who I’ve been talking to for a few months. We became friends and he never hinted he wanted to meet, so he caught me off-guard when he suggested it When I asked why he didn’t want to meet sooner, he said he knew I was skittish about meeting people and wanted to give me time to get to know him. I thought that was awesome of him

I updated the Hairy Pictures site yesterday as well as Hair To Stay and I should finish off those 7 new sites this weekend. 3 are done for sure but I still need to tweak them up some more.

Had laser yesterday and it was a breeze. Not a single snapping noise, not a single bit of pain, it didn’t even feel warm and she went over one small problem area about 8 times. It’s nearly 2 years I’ve been having it done now. I’m hoping very soon I can start going every 3 months and not every 5-6 weeks. During the winter, though, I don’t go often.

I can’t believe my beloved Red Sox were swept by those moron Yankees. Going to be an interesting September, that’s for sure.

I actually hadn’t had time to check my calendar this week but just got the call that I have laser tomorrow night. I am SO glad I decided to have it, particularly when I meet someone new and have to sit 18 inches from them, or are with them past 5 PM. No more worry but yet there is still that initial worry but it passes quickly.

We (my hairy loving, car loving friend) went to a car show the other night and wow, there must have been 70 cars there including a Judge, Road Runner, Chevelle, Barracuda, Pantera … and so many others I can’t even remember them all. Oh, the Nova that was so loud you could hear it 2 towns over! An El Camino that was totallly chromed out and gorgeous had me drooling. One car had such a strong moth ball smell from a foot away we could not get too close to it. A 1967 GT350 was there and we ran over to it, and it was garbage. 289, engine bay wasn’t nicely done, it was so disappointing. Saw 2 old trucks just like the type I always wanted. No old Firebirds, though. I have my work cut out for me on learning all I can about them pretty quickly. I’ll hit the bookstore today for sure.

Met up with a couple of local friends there though one forgot about it and didn’t show up! Hopefully she’ll remember the next time, sheesh!

I did sleep last night, boy did I, with no meds. Fell asleep quickly and got up early but just rolled over each time so stayed in bed until 7:30!! But this afternoon I’ll be working my furry ass off, I promise … so much to catch up on.

I keep reading personal ads where the guys say they are tired of women playing games. Half the time I’m not even sure what they mean or what types of game are being played. I keep reading they want to meet someone who is “normal” and not nuts, and it seems to me, from reading these ads, that the majority of people meeting on dating sites are a bit, err, psychologically unstable.

Chip emailed and shocked the hell out of me as he told me he ,well, wants me. I got NO sexual vibe from him at all when we met so this came out of left field. He’s a really nice sweet guy but definitely not my type and I felt no attraction at all.

John called but very briefly and cancelled our coffee meeting for tomorrow. I just have this feeling …. it will be a long time until we meet, if we ever do. I could be wrong … I know he’s into me sexually, almost too much so … which may not make sense, but the fact he seemingly wants me so badly will put a LOT of pressure on me if and when we meet, and the last thing I need is sexual pressure from some guy.

Since he blew me off for tomorrow, I think I’ll finally go and buy that TV since the one in my office is acting up. I bought one but returned it and have been putting off buying another.

So, I had another laser appointment tonight. She cranked it up a little higher since I have a few problem spots, but it never hurt and I didn’t hear the snapping noise, which is a good thing. Just glad it’s over.

Did you catch the season finale of The Shield? It was disappointing to me. This season just wasn’t as exciting and the stories are going crazy. Usually the last of the season leaves you on the edge of your seat.

Some nice classic cars on the road today including an old Rolls Royce, a few hot rods, a fox body Mustang GT (what a gorgeous goatee on him!) and a Chevelle/Nova, can’t tell the difference from far away.

My love life could be picking up. There is a really, REALLY sweet kid who is almost half my age but I love chatting with him, but he doesn’t live close. Then there is a local guy (20 minutes away) who is interested, but he’s already lied to me 4 times that I know of (mostly his age), plus he’s just not giving me enough attention. The young one isn’t so fixated on sex which is amazing for someone his age. But, the good ones are always so far away, it seems. There was an older one who wanted to meet me for coffee tomorrow but he’s disappeared this week for some reason.

I didn’t feel one bit of pain! It was painless and almost relaxing. The worst part was they suggested I purchase a serum to soothe my skin and the small 2 oz bottle was fifty bucks! It’s in a glass bottle, too, so I don’t want to drop that sucker!! I’m going to buy a piece of silicone and glue it to the bottle so if I drop it, it won’t shatter.

New guy who said he was single but I don’t think he is — now says he is. I’m supposed to believe him, but after having had a relationship with someone who lied from day one, I don’t think I want to repeat that again.

Yep, tonight I had another laser treatment. I was somewhat nervous since I hadn’t had a treatment since the first of December, and worried it would hurt, but honestly it was nothing at all. I basically didn’t feel it at all, even at a very high level with several passes. I don’t need aloe gel when I get home and my skin isn’t even red. I remember the first 6 treatments where it really hurt and I had to put aloe on every 10 minutes for an hour to ease the discomfort. I set another appointment for 8 weeks so there is less time between appointments. Driving over wasn’t bad and coming back at 6:30 it was still pretty light out, even with the dark sky and rain.

I updated Pam’s Webcams a little today with several new hairy women chat hosts. I may add more on the weekend, plus have some MILF and BBW chat hosts to add as well.

Felt really good today when I was in line at a store and the woman in front of me made a chit-chat comment about the weather to me, I responded, then she said, “your hair is really pretty.” I have had several people tell me how much they like the cut, the color, etc. The best thing I ever did was making it straight and going auburn/red. The color doesn’t jump out at you but is very subtle and warm. The layered cut is fantastic and my hairdresser will get an extra large tip at Christmas this year for sure. First, I’ve moved all but one site and so far, so good. No one has reported anything broken or missing. The last site should go tomorrow and then that’s it, and I survived somehow.

I’m cold right now … I think there is no heat, once again. It readds 65 and I have it set to 66. I pushed it up to 74 and my oil burner didn’t come on, so I have a call in to the service company and hopefully they’ll be here soon.

Dad went home today for a visit. They want to evaluate him at home and see how he manages using the few stairs, walking to the bathroom, etc. If he is ok tomorrow they’ll send him home on Tuesday.

Now that all the sites I had to move are done I can begin updating.

Made an appointment for laser at the end of March. Since daylight savings time changes early this year (March 11th) it will be light enough for me to drive at night, and I really do need a treatment.

Yep, had it done, she did show up. Took Yank Bird’s advice and asked for a discount for the 2 cancelled appointments and they gave me tonight free of charge! She put it up as high as it could go and it only got a little hot near the end, so it really didn’t hurt. I don’t go back now for months — when I feel I need it, I go for maintenance. I’ll wait until it’s not dark out at night to go.

Busy day with a hair appointment, few errands, etc. I’m looking for a specific Christmas ornament but having no luck finding it, so tomorrow it’s off to search again.

Did you ever lose a power supply that you MUST have? Grrr, this is the 2nd one I’ve lost in the past few months. I think they get up and walk away

Had to go for laser tonight, since last week it was cancelled. I was in Providence today and wanted to stop at the Providence Place Mall and shop but figured I’d not be back in time, so passed on it. I go to the appointment tonight and my tech isn’t there — she had a car accident on the way home and they didn’t bother to call me and cancel it as they didn’t have me down for an appointment, since their computer crashed. Grrrr. So, now I have to wait 3 weeks.

72 degrees today. This isn’t fair — it should be cold around Thanksgiving, not shorts-wearing weather!

Feeling a little frisky tonight but am a little too busy to take care of it, so good thing the weekend is coming up when I can relax a little and play a little!

First, I want to get my hair trimmed. My hairdresser, who has a 1-year daughter by a guy she’s been with for 3 years, tells me they broke it off. Another huge shocker. She wised up is all I can say — no one cheated, but damn, it shocked me.

Then I get a call to remind me I have a laser appointment tomorrow night, but I realized that this will be the last one for about 6 months. It’s worked so well that instead of going every 6 weeks I believe I can now go every 3-6 months.

Lastly, I had to go to the doctor and pee in a cup. Oh yeah, lots of fun.

Have a massive project ahead of me, at least 5,000 pages on the Internet need to be changed and labeled. We’re all trying this voluntary labeling thing before the goverment makes us do it. Obviously my sites aren’t sexually explicit, at least the images aren’t, but I still want to label everything. Y’all know how I have warning pages on just about every website I have.

65 degrees today and it’s hard to believe it’s practically mid November. Same tomorrow but then in the 40’s on Sunday.

I’m so tired I can’t even stop yawning, so think I’ll wrap up early tonight, get into bed and snuggle up with a good book.

PS: Eddie — we didn’t discuss email for dad! Got him all fixed and running fine but his computer “friend” is going there to help him tomorrow. I already told him if the guy removes any settings, screws up the connection, etc, don’t call me for help. Call me when you get a chance and I’ll explain how I worked my way around it.

Today I received the printer and duplicator. The duplicator works alone but you need a computer for the printer, so I hooked it up to my laptop which I rarely use.

I copied one DVD, then used the printer and it was simple to install and simple to use. The one copy is going in the mail tomorrow to TMW who can tell me if it copied correctly and if he could see all 60 minutes of the movie. If so (and I imagine I’ll know in a week) then they will be available next weekend. FINALLY.

Still waiting on the logo from my designer for my new video site — I also want a little more identifying marks on it so people know it’s mine.

Went for my laser treatment tonight and it really wasn’t bad at all. Compared to a year ago it’s almost not painful. I think I’m at the point where I can go every few months instead of every 5 weeks.

Had another session tonight, and it wasn’t bad at all. She went over each area 6 times, they usually do it 2-3, but I told her after a year I shouldn’t have to keep coming in so she needed to step things up. She increased the wattage so hopefully this will work. Not much pain, not much redness, and I didn’t have to put on aloe to soothe the skin.

Received email from someone who was interested in me, and we’ve been corresponding for a day or two. He told me he was a former Navy SEAL. I asked one question and he refused to respond, so I checked him out and sure enough, he’s full of shit. WHY do men feel the need to lie to women to impress them? I just don’t get it.

Today I took my father (and mother) to the doctor out of town. I didn’t want him driving 45 minutes each way in his condition, so volunteered to take them. It’s so sad to see him going downhill, though he’s better than he was. 6 months ago I remember the doctor calling me at home, asking me to come to the hospital, as he didn’t think my father would last through the night. My mother was crying and crying and I told her over and over that the doctor is NOT god and I’m glad I was right.

Hurricane Ernesto is hitting right now, but so far it’s just very windy with some rain, but they say more rain and wind tomorrow. My leak is just worsening but Monday night supposedly my contractor is coming in to fix it. He’s “very busy” but hey, my stuff needs to get done, ya know? That reminds me that I need to take some pics of my remodeled room for Eddie — tomorrow for sure!

Went to Connecticut today but didn’t buy the truck. Not only was it a manual (and yes, I know it’s not expensive to do a changeover to automatic) but the engine was really tired, you could just hear it. He had a really nice 1969 Firebird there for about $7k on a divorce sale, but I don’t want a Firebird. I’m still learning about Pontiacs and I don’t want a muscle car now, if ever. He also had a 1965 Mustang in bright blue for a really good price but the guy with me was an expert in trucks, not Mustangs, so I didn’t even consider it. I’m also skeptical when someone wants to sell a car worth $14k for less than half that amount …. I’ll keep looking for my truck though. We did have a really nice lunch and it was nice to go out with a guy who had manners and didn’t bitch about every little thing during the meal. Saw gas as low as $2.42 at one station but very few classic car sightings due to the storm. I did learn some more about engines today. I always figured, for example, a 389 was a 389. But, no, not all have the same horsepower. I need to get a book on engines to learn more.

Still frisky as hell! In fact, I had such an erotic dream last night I got up around 2 am and was so disoriented with passion I thought I wasn’t alone. Pretty frisky today, though we didn’t talk about sex all that much. I’m not quite sure what set me off other than hormones, it’s not like I had some great goatee sightings this week! In fact, it’s been a while since I had a really good one .. sighting, that is!

Just realized that Friday night I have a laser appointment. It’s a week early but things are going so well I don’t mind. I actually thought of having it done on my legs. Now, before you all scream — my legs are no longer hairy, and the hair that is there is very spotty. I shaved them about 2 years ago (after not doing them for 12+ years) thinking the hair would grow in properly, but it doesn’t. It has rubbed off from sleeping I guess. But, don’t panic, as I’m not having it done for a variety of reasons, including the cost, the pain and the fact very few people really look at my legs. People look at them as they’re so muscular but no one gets close enough to see the hair.

I’d never, ever considering doing my underarms, as I love the hair that is there. I like to play with it when I lie down and watch TV — ok, so not that often — but I just like it, and have no plans to ever, ever remove it. It’s been about 15 or 16 years since I’ve shaved them, too.

Eddie mentioned that I seem more outgoing since I’m going out more, but it’s just that the laser has given me more confidence. I’m still very shy, but I now have more balls than ever. I have no qualms about going up to a stranger and asking about their car or truck. Oh, I’m still very self conscious, and I don’t think that will ever go away, but it’s not so prevalent any more. I think the combination of the red hair and better cut gave me more confidence, and it’s not bright red like Lucy lol, it’s more a brunette with very warm highlights. The cut suits me much better and with that and the laser, I feel like a new woman.

I used to be extremely self-conscious over my weight, and still am somewhat that way, but after my ex said something really really REALLY nasty about my weight last year, I was triply self-conscious about my weight. Now I’m happy with me!

Half the summer is over, it seems to have gone by fast, hasn’t it? I’m glad as I hate the summer and look forward to October each year, as it’s my favorite time of year. I’m most likely going on vacation in October, something I haven’t done in many years.

Couple of crazy days here. Yesterday I was expecting my electrician so he could hook up my attic fans. But, he called at 3 and said it was too hot so wanted to come tonight, so I said sure, no problem. Hung up and realized BIG problem — I have laser tonight. Now, I knew he was going on vacation, so I was thinking how I could put off the laser which I didn’t want to do, when the spa called to ask me to change my laser appointment to last night! Perfect timing.

So, last night I had another laser treatment. 2 spots were pretty painful for some reason, but the rest wasn’t that bad, even with the increase in power. I didn’t even need aloe lotion when I came home. I’ll know in a week or so how well it came out, but I’m so used to it now I don’t even get nervous. The worst part? Leaving the spa as you have to go through 2 rooms of people having stuff done (nails, hair) and it can be embarassing.

Electrician came in, spent 2 hours and now I’m all hooked up. I wanted him to do some other stuff but with my back bedroom all in pieces due to the remodel, it wasn’t a good time. Hopefully the remodel will be done by next weekend, then I can scan more pictures of Ember for you.

The weather broke overnight. While it was humid today, it was just 73 most of the day with a nice breeze. I would have been happier with less humidity but it was better than the 106 from yesterday.

Not a single classic car sighting today, and just one GTO yesterday. I think it’s the hot weather plus the rain that came in today. By the time I get my car back it should be about 40 degrees cooler out.

Have weekend plans? I plan to finish pulling my back bedroom apart and emptying it, working on the medical site, watching a movie (not sure which one yet) and I’m about to move about 40 websites to a new server, so have to get ready for that as well.

Oh well, I need to go work on my medical website (more on that when it’s done) and then I plan to kick back, watch NCIS and take a break before finishing up tonight and hopefully getting some good sleep. I haven’t slept well this week. I keep getting up around 5 am and can’t get back to sleep. I try reading but I get anxious so I just get up and work, but I want to cut back on work, not do more

Tonight was my laser appointment. Actually, it was tomorrow night, but they called me earlier and asked me to move it up a day. Not a problem since I don’t generally go out after dinner anyway. It was not that bad, though she turned up the dial and said it would be a lot hotter. It was, and it hurt in a few spots, but all in all it wasn’t bad.

Not too many car sightings today, even though I dropped off my car earlier today. The weather was really bad, heavy heavy fog with incredibly intense humidity. Hopefully it will clear up for the weekend.

82 degrees today, but more humid yesterday. So far the heat hasn’t bothered me but then again I haven’t been out in it much! Massive thunderstorms last night woke me up at least 6 times and they’re saying tonight we’ll have the same, and they keep interrupting the shows on TV to update the severe thunderstorm watch and mention the heavy rain coming with it. When it’s this hot I’m home working. Today I did update the Hair To Stay site with some new links and I freshened up some, plus I worked on this site a little bit as well.

My kitchen is done, the guy put up the new hardware and for the first time in nearly 15 years I have 2 cabinet doors that actually shut. He touched up the paint a bit as well and did some other stuff. He saw a copy of Hair To Stay in my office and asked me about it, and when I told him it was about natural hairy women, he didn’t look interested at all. I told him my customers liked women who looked like real women and not little girls, and he got this funny look on his face, so I think he likes his women shaved! I’d bet his wife is shaved for sure.

I saw a few commercials for new television programs and it seems that reality TV is still a huge commodity with more and more programs taking the lead from American Idol. They have a new one on Thursday night I think where people show an “extreme” talent. One preview showed a car that actually plays jump rope. Seriously, the car jumps up in the air over and over. Then there is another one that is a talent show but it’s more than singing and there is no age limit, and it’s produced by Simon Cowell from American Idol. And, yet another I read about tonight is a Simon Cowell production and he hired Paula Abdul as a judge. I don’t think any of these programs have the chance to be as big as American Idol, but maybe a few people will be recognized for some odd talent. I won’t be watching them, though, as I don’t want to get hooked into it like American Idol. It’s bad enough now that I can’t stop watching So You Think You Can Dance!

I’ve found someone to edit my tape of the 2 hairy lesbians. I have to go up to the other side of Boston, about 80 miles from me, to meet with him and have him edit down the tape, then I have to get it duplicated and then, finally, I can release it. Once it’s in the process of editing I’ll post a few pics that will definitely have y’all drooling.

Friday night I have my laser appointment, I think this is the 9th one. While I do see a big change, I can also see some of the hair coming back in. I know this isn’t permanent, and all of it isn’t growing back, but it was a little disheartening to see some coming back. Half is gone so I can’t complain.

Today began dreary. Went to the chiropractor and it was drizzling, cold and raw and about 40 degrees. By the time I went out around 12:30 pm it was no longer raining and within an hour it was 60 degrees, sunny and humid. You have to love New England weather.

Had my 8th laser appointment tonight and it wasn’t that bad. Hurt in a few spots but I guess my skin is getting used to it. As I was waiting another woman came in and she had fur on her forearms. I haven’t seen such hairy forearms in a very long time. She had an appointment with the girl who does the laser, but I’m not sure if she was having a facial hair removed, pubic hair removed or what. I didn’t want to ask my laser girl what she was doing on that woman but I sure was curious.

I would imagine a lot of hairy women go to various laser centers for work, but I’m also sure many of them who are very hairy may not have visible signs of their body fur.

Well, the manager of Great White got 4 years in jail but is eligible for parole in 16 months. Some of the relatives think he should have gotten life, others think the sentence was too harsh. I thought 2 years would have been sufficient, but then again I didn’t lose a relative in that fire, just friends. The real culprits, the owners of the club, go on trial shortly.

Still reeling over Chris being voted off of American Idol. It was THE talk of every talk show today, everywhere you went people were commenting on it. I heard an interview and Chris said that most likely were so sure he’d be in the top 2 that they stopped voting, and that did him in. I admit I have never voted for anyone, though I wish I had voted for Chris on Tuesday night. My pick for the winner now is Taylor Hicks, the grey-haired dude with the soulful voice. He’s Ray Charles, Michael McDonald and Joe Cocker rolled into one.

Thanks to everyone who has emailed or called to inquire about my health. Slowly but surely it’s coming along. Monday morning I have a doctor appointment so will know more then.

Had my 7th laser appointment last night and it’s a good thing they called to remind me that it was rescheduled from tonight or I’d have forgotten about it. It wasn’t nearly as painful as the last one, but she did make an adjustment to minimize the discomfort. I’ll know how well it worked in 10 days.

I look very, very different today. I had my hair cut and no longer have curly hair. It’s also mahogany red rather than a golden red. This change was supposed to be a birthday gift to me from me and my folks but the wrong color had come in, then I was just too busy to make the appointment. Right now I’m still in a little bit of shock and the color is so much darker than I’m used to, though I know it will fade soon, but I love the cut. My hair hasn’t looked this good in years!

When I was getting my hair cut, the hairdresser in the next station went out on a coffee run, and when she came back, she made a comment that really caught my attention. I heard “I should leave the girl behind the counter my business card so she can come in for a full body wax” and my girl said “oh, I know who you mean, she’s like a wookie” and they laughed and made stupid comments. Now, of course, I want to run to that bakery and check out the girl who works Friday mornings. Ironically, that bakery was the favorite one of my ex, even though he said the pastry wasn’t that good. I have a feeling the girl is of Portuguese descent since it’s a Portuguese bakery, and many Portuguese girls are very hairy. I only like iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts, and while there is one right next door, I don’t like the way they make their iced coffee and I can’t eat the pastry, so have to come up with an excuse to go in to check out the help!

This weekend I have plans to relax, relax and relax, work just a little bit and then relax some more. I hope to write in the coffee blog as it’s been a while. I want to work on my eBook as well, now I’m up to the research section which will take me a month or more to compile.

Had a shock today when I drove by a self-serve gas station and saw it was $2.53 a gallon. It was $2.06 just 4 weeks ago. I haven’t really drive much in the past week and a half so my tank doesn’t need to be filled up, and I hope the prices come down before I have to again. At least the warmer weather is here, at least for a while. so I’ll be using less oil heat. Everyone I talk to has complained about the high price of heating oil this winter, and most of us all have lowered our heat. Last night was the first time in a long time that not only didn’t I put on the electric blanket before bed, I threw it off to sleep. It was about 60 today but with the wind it was about 50, still pretty nice weather. I’ll be glad when I can pack up the electric blanket and humidifier for the season.

I did update Hair To Stay a little last night and this coming week I’ll be updating a few more. I am planning on taking down a few as well so I can free up some more time.

In 2 hours I have my laser appointment and tonight is the freebie one so I’m REALLY looking forward to saving $400!

The weather is pretty bad, though, up to 50mph winds but it’s the darkness that bothers me more. It was 55 degrees today and is going down to 8 degrees tomorrow night, but tonight it will be warm so the melting snow won’t freeze when I’m driving there.

The last time it wasn’t very painful at all except for one small area, so I’m hoping tonight will be a repeat of that, plus I hope some of the hair that doesn’t seem to want to go away will be taken care of tonight.

Well, I survived the third laser appointment. Because I had scabbed up last time, this time they set the laser much lower so it wasn’t nearly as painful, but of course that also means it wasn’t nearly as effective. It seems it wasn’t really scabbing but something they call folliculitis, where the follicles are enflamed or something. They didn’t rush me out and let me stay an extra 10 minutes with a cold compress on my face to see if that happened again, and it didn’t. I’m not even sore today or swollen other than one or two small spots.

So, onward I go!

Good weekend? Red Sox beat the Yankees 10-1 yesterday and now we just have to beat the White Sox to get a shot at the World Series again!

No word from Joel. I couldn’t call on the weekend, and he didn’t answer my email, so this leads me to believe the plans he had went horribly wrong.

Got a really good look at how the laser is doing and I’d say about 1/3 of the hair has been removed. Funny how it happens so spottily. Next weekend I have another laser session.

Worked all weekend, haven’t done that in about 8 months. I forgot how much I hurt after working all day, for some reason I pull a muscle in my lower side when I sit here all day and night and work. I sure felt it last night. Not only that, 2 weeks ago I picked up a really really heavy box and now I repinched the nerve in my upper neck, so have to call my chiropractor and begin seeing her again. I kept hoping it would get better on its own but it’s hurting more and more every day. Will do that after I get back from the dentist. Also have my electrician coming in supposedly today ….. it was one of those “we’ll try to be there” type things.

And it’s not even over yet. Joel hasn’t been here all week and won’t be until at least Saturday. I haven’t seen him since Monday and haven’t had a hug since a week ago Monday, so am feeling REALLY …. alone.

Laser is making me nuts, believe it or not it causes acne. It gave me a few pimples the first time but this time, sheesh, I must have a dozen on my chin. They say this happens and is normal, something about the hair being destroyed and the gland pushing up dirt, something like that, I just know it’s annoying. I didn’t have this many pimples during my entire teen years!!

I’m doing better emotionally dealing with it, it passes with time. I do see one more bald spot which is a good thing.

Mine wasn’t that great but it never is after laser treatment. Emotionally I’m a wreck for a few days, but Joel doesn’t understand and just thinks I’m mad at him. It’s painful, it’s traumatic and it just really adversely affects me.
